Building a political party from the ground up is harder when the people doing the work are scattered across sixty-seven counties. Between monthly meetings, candidates need help drafting platforms. Chapter chairs want to compare notes. People who just heard about the party for the first time want a place to ask "is there a meeting near me?" without filling out a contact form and waiting two days.
So we made one. The Green Party of Alabama Discord server is now open to anyone interested in the party: current members, prospective members, candidates, allies, and the merely curious.
